(STATEHOUSE) - State university presidents are urging budget negotiators to find more money to support their institutions.
The senate budget spends 108-million dollars less than the house next year on Indiana's seven public colleges, with an additional 31-million-dollar gap on financial aid.
The presidents of IU, Purdue, Ivy Tech, Vincennes and the University of Southern Indiana appeared before a budget conference committee.
