34-Year-Old Shot To Death; Buildings Burned Down

(WARREN) - The Huntington County Sheriff’s Department says a 34-year-old man was shot and killed during a shootout Monday.

Police had been searching for Barton Thompson since Sunday afternoon after a rural warren home and three nearby barns burned to the ground.

Police say Thompson had been making and doing methamphetamine.
