(LOUISVILLE, KY) - The Louisville Bats swept a doubleheader from the Indianapolis Indians, winning the opener 2-1 and taking the nightcap 3-2.
Ramon Ramirez pitched into the seventh for Louisville in game one, allowing a run on six hits to get the win and improve to 3 and 5.
In game two, Chris Valaika put the bats up to stay with an RBI double in the fourth.
Larry Broadway hit solo home runs in both games for Indianapolis.
The three game series wraps up tonight at Louisville Slugger Stadium before the Tribe and the Bats head north to Indianapolis to open a three-game series at Victory Field on Saturday night.
