(UNDATED) - Indiana’s 6th district Congressman Mike Pence is calling for a house vote on the “broadcaster freedom amendment,” which would prevent the federal communications commission from reinstating the “fairness doctrine” or enacting “broadcast localism” regulations which Pence sees as a “new iteration” of the old policy.
Pence and his fellow republican, Oregon Congressman Greg Walden, are co-authors of the amendment.
