(WASHINGTON) - In spite of a late start forced by heavy rain, farmers nationwide have planted the biggest corn crop in 60 years.
The US Department of Agriculture says Indiana's corn farmers planted 5.7 million acres, the 5th biggest crop in the nation, outpaced only by Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska and Minnesota.
