(FRANKLIN) - Franklin College filed a federal complaint Monday against Columbus, Ohio-based Franklin University.
Franklin College President Jay Mosely says the decision to take action was made after the university began an aggressive advertising campaign in central Indiana to promote classes being offered in the Castleton area this fall.
He says the complaint is an effort to protect the Franklin College trademark while shielding alumni and students from confusion.
