Hearing Set For Today On Increase By Indiana Public Service Company

(MICHIGAN CITY) - A public hearing on a rate increase request by Northern Indiana Public Service Company is set for today in Michigan City.

The Indiana Office of Utility Consumer counselor says the hearing will be similar to one held in Gary in March.

The OUCC is recommending the state deny NIPSCO's request to increase its annual base electric rate revenues by 85.7 million.
