(UNDATED) - House republicans are pushing back against majority democrats’ health-care reform plans.
Sixth district congressman and house GOP conference chairman Mike Pence contends a government-run insurance option would destroy private insurance, under the guise of competing with private plans.
Pence argues a better option would be to override state-by-state regulation of insurance, so companies could pool coverage across state lines to lower costs.
