(INDIANAPOLIS) - A former Indianapolis Police Officer gets the minimum ten-year prison sentence for his role in a scheme to steal drugs and money.
34-year-old James Davis entered into a plea agreement and testified against two other officers who were convicted last month.
US Attorney Timothy Morrison says the deal was justified because the prosecution needed Davis's testimony.
