(DAYTONA BEACH, FL) - Qualifying is scheduled for this afternoon as the NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers get ready Saturday night’s Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International speedway.
David Ragan was fastest during the first practice session on Thursday with David Reutimann quickest in the final practice.
Kyle Busch is the defending race winner. Columbus, Indiana resident Tony Stewart enters the weekend with the sprint cup points lead.
Stewart holds a 69-point lead over Jeff Gordon with three-time defending sprint cup champion Jimmie Johnson 169 points back.
