(INDIANAPOLIS) - New identification requirements for Indiana driver’s licenses will make voting more difficult under the state’s voter ID law, according to the Indiana League of Women Voters.
League State President Karen Kay Leonard says the new requirements add to the burden already imposed by the voter ID law.
Beginning January 1st, the BMV will require people seeking driver's licenses or state id cards to show birth certificates, social security cards and other documentation.
