(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana’s newest state senator will be selected tonight.
Republican Party Precinct Committee leaders will decide on a successor to former State Senator Teresa Lubbers.
Lubbers resigned her district 30 seat earlier this summer to take a new job as the state's commissioner of higher education.
The district covers parts of northern Marion and southern Hamilton Counties.
A caucus is being held tonight at 7:00 PM.
