(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana State Health Department officials are warning of an increase of blue-green algae at Geist and Morse Reservoirs.
They also say there's an elevated level of an algal toxin at Geist.
Officials are telling Hoosiers to be aware and use caution when swimming, skiing or taking part in other recreational activities in either reservoir.
Low risk levels have been observed at Geist in the past but the department says levels there are much higher now.
