(UNDATED) - State college leaders are preparing to meet with Indiana lawmakers to justify tuition increases.
Republican state senator Luke Kenley of Noblesville is calling on officials from Purdue, IU and other institutions to explain why they raising tuition while other state agencies are facing budget cuts.
The college leaders are expected to state their case during Tuesday's bipartisan state budget committee meeting.
