(JEFFERSONVILLE) - One of only three national data processing centers for the US Census Bureau officially opened Wednesday in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
When fully operational, the center will have up to 5,000 temporary workers to process the questionnaires from 10 states during the 2010 census.
Another center opened last month in Baltimore and a third opens in phoenix in November.
