(HOBART) - A former Hobart woman who injected a man with a powerful painkiller pleaded guilty to reckless homicide in his death.
In October 2004, Denise Black injected 23-year-old Dustin Oglesby with the drug Fentanyl, after he paid her for it.
Hours later, Oglesby stopped breathing and died as a result of the injection, combined with other drugs and alcohol in his system.
A doctor had prescribed the medication patch to black, and court statements say she knew she wasn't supposed to give it to someone else.
Black faces two to eight years in prison.
