(UNDATED) - State and federal agencies have begun damage assessments in eight counties in southern and central Indiana. Indiana
Brown, Clark, Floyd, Jackson, Jennings, Marion, Ripley and Rush counties sustained damage from the severe storms and flash flooding that began August 4.
John Erickson with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security says the teams are grading the severity of the damage to homes and businesses reported by property owners.
