Man Accused Of Faking His Death Recieves Sentencing Today

(FISHERS, IN) - A Fishers money manager accused of faking his death by orchestrating an airplane crash is scheduled to be sentenced today in federal district court.

38-year-old Marcus Schrenker pled guilty in June to charges that he intentionally crashed his airplane in an aborted flight, caused the coast guard to respond when no help was needed.

Court documents indicate he now faces between 46 and 63 months' imprisonment and payment of $871,000 in restitution for the aircraft.
