(UNDATED) - With displaced workers taking on new jobs with altered schedules or going back to school to prepare themselves for a changing job market, some parents are scrambling to find affordable child care.
State Bureau of Child Care Administrator Melanie Brizzi says parents should "make sure they're really communicating with their child care provider about what they are expecting and what the provider is offering."
Brizzi recommends asking about child to staff ratios and the training of staff members.
