(HAMMOND, IN) - A former St. Joseph County police officer has been arraigned on his second indictment.
Andrew Taghon appeared before a federal judge by video conference from a prison camp in West Virginia.
Taghon pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempted robbery in connection with a botched plan to rob a gas station manager.
Taghon recently started serving a six-year prison term for conspiracy to commit wire fraud and selling a firearm to a convicted felon.
