(INDIANA STATEHOUSE) - A legislative study committee is groping for a middle ground in the battle between Indiana’s supermarkets and liquor stores over Sunday alcohol sales.
Legislators heard more than three hours of testimony from retailers portraying legal Sunday sales as a free-market issue, and package-store owners accusing big-box giants of trying to put them out of business.
