(UNDATED) - The Indiana State Health Department is urging all Hoosiers to get a seasonal influenza vaccination as soon as possible.
The vaccine is available at many pharmacies, from private physicians and local health departments.
The seasonal flu vaccine will not protect against H1N1 influenza a, but state health officials say you shouldn't wait for the new vaccine.
About 36,000 people die each year in the united states due to seasonal flu-related illnesses.
