(MUCIE, IN) - About 20 buildings that once were part of a wire factory that polluted the area in Muncie are scheduled to be torn down by the end of the year.
The Indiana Steel & Wire site on the city's east side has already had five of the brick buildings torn down, with 14 more set for demolition.
The demolition represents the most visible change at the site polluted with solvents, petroleum, metals and cyanide.
