(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis-Marion County Library took its case before the Indiana Supreme Court Tuesday to recover losses from the construction of the Central Library.
Work halted on the library in early 2004 after construction defects were found.
The expanded library finally opened in December 2007.
The library lost its fraud case earlier this year against subcontractors it claimed were responsible for $50 million in cost overruns due to the defects.
This time, the library is arguing for the reinstatement of negligence claims.
