(UNDATED) - Next year’s election will determine which party draws Indiana’s legislative and congressional maps for the next 10 years.
But Governor Daniels and Secretary of State Todd Rokita are calling on legislators to take politics out of the process.
Daniels and Rokita are calling for an end to bizarrely shaped districts that leave most seats safely in one party's hands.
Rokita wants an outright ban on using political data to draw the maps.
