(WEST LAFAYETTE) - Purdue University is planning to spend a total of $6 million dollars on a rebate and increase in student financial aid.
The move is part of a program the university is implementing following meetings with state leaders concerned about the rising cost of higher education.
The plan calls for a rebate of $250 on the $500 student fee, in addition to a previously announced rebate for Hoosier undergraduates.
