(UNDATED) - Indiana Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman awarded $33.8 million in the first round of federal funding for low and moderate income housing in Indiana.
Skillman says the construction projects in Indianapolis, Greenfield and Brownsburg could break ground within 60 days.
The first round of funding includes low-income housing developments in Richmond, Terre Haute, Fort Wayne, Kokomo and Portland.
Most of the developments are apartments for working families, seniors, or disabled Hoosiers.
