(FORT WAYNE, IN) - Indiana Michigan Power says it is taking legal action to prevent the city of Fort Wayne from taking control of its power grid in the area.
I & M says mediation efforts have not been successful and a 35-year lease deal with the city expires February 28th.
The utility has asked Allen County Superior Court to stop the city from taking over electrical service, but adds talks with Fort Wayne officials will continue.
