(LAKEVILLE, IN) - Lakeville State Representative Jackie Walorski will pass up re-election next year to challenge Democratic Congressman Joe Donnelly.
Walorski had been heavily recruited by the National Republican Congressional Committee.
But the three-term Republican legislator says the party courtship played no role in her decision.
Rather, she says it's the widespread frustration and fear she says she sees in the district.
Walorski blasts the democratic-backed health-care plans as too expensive.
