Man Wanted For Shooting Death Turns Himself In

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - One of the men wanted in the shooting death of a blind man on the Northside of Indianapolis Wednesday morning has turned himself in to authorities.

20-year-old Fidel Vega, known as "Poppy" has been arrested for murder, robbery, felony battery and carrying a handgun without a license.

Police describe the attack near 47th and Crestview as a home-invasion robbery.

Police are still looking for an accomplice in the shooting.

Police arriving at the scene found 35-year-old Nathaniel Douglas shot to death in the doorway of his home.

His 19-year-old relative, Adrian Edwards, was shot in the hand and is in good condition at an Indianapolis Hospital.
