(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever owner Herb Simon is basking in the glow of a Cinderella season for his WNBA franchise and also feels confident in the direction the Pacers are headed.
Simon says he wants to build on the excitement over the fever's first-ever appearance in the WNBA finals and hopes it carrys over to the next season.
He feels the pacers are on track to regain the fans they lost amid the embarrassing incidents of two years ago.
Simon says the Pacers' Larry Bird is only one year into a three year plan to rebuild the team.
He says the Pacers continue to emphasize community involvement and sincerely enjoy it.
Simon hopes the team's transformation is rewarded by fan support at home.
