(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - A group that advocates safe bicycling in Indiana is hoping the recent death of a Decatur Central High School student and Columbus, Indiana resident as well as an Ohio woman who was struck by a car in Greene County, reminds riders that it’s important to follow traffic laws.
Bicycle Indiana Executive Director Nancy Tibbett says knowing how to ride a bike safely is as important as knowing how to drive a car or truck.
The organization works with certified instructors to offer safety classes statewide.
