(MUNCIE, IN) - A Ball State University Economist questions wire service reports depicting GM’s financial statement as a sign of recovery.
General Motors lost $1.2 billion dollars in the third quarter.
That's smaller than other recent losses.
But Ball State's Michael Hicks notes that the improvement came only with the sales boost provided by the federal cash for clunkers program, which has since expired.
