(UNDATED) - Traveling over the holidays this year, will likely be much better this year according to a travel tip website.
Bestfares.com Editor Tom Parsons says this season airlines have downsized, which likely means better deals and on time performances.
Parsons says the best days to travel for Thanksgiving are the Sunday and Monday before the holiday.
He says the time not to fly for the holiday is the Wednesday before and the Sunday after.
He says those days could cost you $150 dollars more.
Parsons says be flexible and plan out a strategy before you book any travel.
