(VALPARAISO, IN) - Jury selection was completed Monday in the trial of the man charged in the shooting of Indianapolis Metro Police Officer Jason Fishburn.
The Defendant, Brian Reese, is charged with attempted murder.
Fishburn and other officers cornered Reese on the near east side of Indianapolis the evening of July 10th, 2008.
A bullet struck Fishburn in the head and Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi recalls that the young officer was not expected to live.
But Fishburn did live and he'll be first witness to testify on Tuesday.
A jury was selected in Valparaiso because of pretrial publicity.
