(COLUMBIA CITY) - The Whitley County Sheriff’S Department is regrouping in their search for the body of a woman allegedly murdered by her husband.
Sheriff Mark Hodges says a ground search was suspended Monday, so investigators could decide whether to retrace their steps or expand the search to other parts of the county.
Crews have covered the western portion of the Whitley County since Debra Houser went missing Wednesday.
Her husband, Rodney Houser, made his first appearance in Whitely County Court Monday, charged with murder.
