(CONNERSVILLE, IN) - State and local officials continue to cooperate in the effort to have a police car manufacturer start production in Fayette County.
The state of Indiana is transferring $500,000 left over from the cleanup of a landfill to the city of Connersville to help rehabilitate a former Visteon plant.
Carbon Motors Corporation wants to use the location to produce its police car, creating more than 1,000 jobs.
The agreement follows the city's deal with Visteon.
