(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The monster snow storm that hit the east coast over the weekend has delayed the holiday homecoming for 300 Indiana National Guard Soldiers.
They'll have to wait an extra day to get home from a year of duty in Iraq.
Staff Sergeant Les Newport says 130 soldiers from the 138th Quartermaster Company based in Brazil, Indiana, are now scheduled to arrive at Stout Field in Indianapolis on Monday evening.
They had been set to arrive late Sunday.
And 170 soldiers from the 384th military police company from Bloomington and Evansville are also being delayed a day, returning to Stout Field on Tuesday morning.
Sargeant Newport says they're keeping family members updated about the latest schedule changes so they know when their soldiers are returning home.
