(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Tennis Championships announced over the weekend that it has sold its ATP Membership back to the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour.
Tournament Director Kevin Martin said mounting expenses were a major factor in the decision to sell the tournament sanction.
The deal ends an 89-year history of professional tennis in Indianapolis.
