(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Tony George, the deposed CEO of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the family-owned Hulman and Company has broken his remaining ties to the companies by resigning from the Hulman Board of Directors.
The announcement comes from George's mother, the company chairman Mari Hulman George.
George is still involved in racing but only through his ownership of vision racing, a competitor in the IRL's Izod IndyCar series.
