(FRANKLIN, IN) - The Franklin Township School Board has approved a package of budget cuts.
The cuts would close two elementary schools and cost 50 teachers their jobs.
The cuts also include a new student fee to ride the bus and play sports.
Superintendent Walter Bourke presented the cuts Wednesday night to fill a $6.7 million dollar budget shortfall.
