(UNDATED) - Indiana has ranked near the top of a national survey in U.S. wind development.
In the last two years, Indiana has went from 50th to 13th among wind producing states.
The Hoosier state installed 905 megawatts of wind power last year, putting it second only to Texas.
Eric Burch is with the Indiana Office of Energy Development and says having that helps with business development and retention.
