Police Issue Report On Carmel Bullying Case

(CARMEL, IN) - Carmel police have issued a report on an alleged assault of a boys basketball player.

The heavily redacted report indicates that the boys team stopped in Cloverdale on their way back from a game in Terre Haute on January 22nd.

The victim stated he woke up sometime around 11PM and walked to the back of the bus where he was grabbed and assaulted by team members.

The victim stated "both assaults" lasted approximately 10 minutes.

At least three players have reportedly been suspended by the school.

The February 17th report lists possible charges as battery, criminal confinement and criminal deviate conduct.
