(LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Tippecanoe School Corporation is facing a $7.8 million dollar budget cut.
The board discussed possible cuts during a meeting Wednesday, but voted unanimously to table a motion to cut as many as 150 teachers until a February 22nd special board meeting.
Superintendent Scott Hanback recommended the delay to give the district time to explore other ideas and possibly wait out some potential legislation that could offer relief.
