Crews Struggle To Rescue Stranded Boater

(NOBLESVILLE, IN) - Rescuers in Noblesville had a tough time rescuing a stranded boater in the White River Sunday afternoon.

It happened at the Riverwood Dam.

Paul Rossi was fishing in the river when the strong current trapped him against the dam.

Crews were able to get to Rossi but a piece of debris became entangled in their propeller, rendering them unable to get to shore.

A second rescue boat was able to pull both of them to safety.
