(FRANKLIN, IN) - The two dogs who were set on fire as a form of punishment by a woman in Johnson County are expected to make a full recovery.
Michael Delp with Johnson County Animal Control says Jake and Boomer have received around the clock care.
He says once they are healthy again, their future will depend upon a judge since a criminal investigation is attached.
He says over 400 e-mails and over $4,000 dollars have come in support of the two.
Delp says it's rewarding to see the interest and humanity of residents in the region.
