(LOGANSPORT) - Governor Daniels is headed overseas this fall on another trade mission.
He's expected to visit china and Japan. Do the trips pay off? Logansport Mayor Mike Fincher is a Democrat and made a trip to Japan with our Republican governor a few years ago.
Fincher says the trips are important to market Indiana. Fincher says even if the trips add up to a million dollars over the years, the investments will payoff when an Asian company moves into the community.
Fincher says the trips are a gamble, but the sure thing is if you don't go, nothing will happen. The next trip to Japan will be the governor's fourth since taking office in 2005.
