(INDIANA STATEHOUSE) - Some state lawmakers are trying to revive a bill that would ban texting while driving.
State Representative Joseph Pearson (D-Hartford City) says the renewed push in conference committee follows a campaign by the Indiana Attorney General and AT&T to warn motorists about it.
The bill would make it a misdemeanor to text and drive in Indiana.
Teen drivers are already banned from doing so.
Pearson doesn't buy the argument that the law would be unenforceable.
