New Palestine Student Killed In Car Wreck

(GREENFIELD, IN) - Police say a New Palestine High School student was killed and her passenger injured in a single car accident in Hancock County.

16-year-old Paige Evans died after her car left the roadway and struck several trees.

Austin Kingsbury, who is also a New Palestine student, is listed in good condition.

It took rescue workers nearly 40 minutes to extricate him from the car.
