(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - New rules for teacher licensing and preparation will be signed today by Governor Mitch Daniels.
The rules will require secondary education teachers to have a baccalaureate degree with a major in the content area they wish to teach and a minor in education.
The changes are also designed to help adults in other careers more easily enter the teaching profession.
